Philip Blake qualified as a Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist
in 1985. He has practiced in Jersey since then. He is also a Diploma Trained Counsellor with the Central School of Counselling and Therapy. He attends a minimum of forty hours Continuing Professional Development each year and holds an Advanced Diploma in Hypnotherapy, studying issues such as sexual abuse, belief systems, treating children, substance abuse, pain management, memory enhancement, micro body language and forensic hypnosis.
He has also received training from Dr Richard Bandler the creator of NLP & NHR techniques.
Since qualifying in hypnotherapy he has gained  wide experience in Private Practice successfully treating a variety
of psychological problems.
In 2010 Philip was honoured to accept a Fellowship from the International Association of Hypnoanalyists in recognition of his contribution to Hypnotherapy. He is only one seven therapists in the United Kingdom to have been given this honour by the Association.
Philip gives regular talks on Hypnotherapy and
has been interviewed on radio.
All consultations are conducted from Philip's consulting
room at the Lido Medical Centre, St Saviours Road.
The practice has two telephone
numbers. All messages are treated in the strictest confidence.
The first line 506959 is answered by a receptionist Monday
to Friday 9am to 5pm.
If you need more confidentiality, call 643573 which is
on answer phone 24 hours a day. Philip is the only
person to listen to messages on this line.

The Lido Medical Centre is situated in the grounds of and in front of the Hotel De France on St Saviours Road. There is covered FREE parking under the Medical Centre. Just follow the signs for the Medical Centre. Once inside the building there is a lift, we are on the third floor. There are signs (saying 'Hypnotherapy Clinic') directing you to the suite that we share with the Jersey Eye Centre. Just take a seat until Philip comes to get you

Having met Philip at an initial consultation, the therapy he recommends needs to make sense to you and you need to feel committed.
Many people view therapy as something that is done to them, something that is passive, rather than them having to get involved and take responsibility for their progress. However, the way in which Philip practices, does mean you will have to be involved and take responsibility for your progress.
Generally speaking, the more you give during therapy the more you will get in return.
If there are any doubts, then don't do it, even if you are desperate.
Initial 20 minute consultation
FREE for all problems except smokers, they can attend without an initial consultation. No demonstrations are given.
All fees are payable at the end of each visit:
Pure-Analysis, Thrive programme, Hypnoband or Counselling £80 per consultation
Hypnotherapy where only one session is needed £170
Children. £60 per consultation
Backup support sessions (30 minutes duration) £40 per session

All major Credit and Debit cards are accepted, such as Access,
Visa, Maestro and Connect. You may also pay by cash. It is regretted that cheques are no longer accepted.
Credit is not available other than
by prior arrangement.
Philip appreciates there are times when it is unavoidable for clients to occasionally cancel a session. However, other than in exceptional circumstances, a minimum of 24
hours notice must be given of a cancellation, or
a cancellation fee of £40 will be charged.
Where a series of sessions is booked, a deposit of £35 is taken during your first session. This will be refunded at the end of your final session, provided you have not been subject to a late cancellation fee.
Should you be subject to this cancelation fee during the course of your therapy, a further £35 deposit will need to be paid to continue therapy which again will be refunded provided you are not subject to any late cancellation fees.
